A corolla costs $20 a day and its auto
u need to rent using a credit card..
each ADDITIONAL DRIVER IS another $10

THe bad news is u cannot rent if u r under 21
additional $10 A DAY for damage risk
if really WHam bang , u have to pay $400
http://www.bayswatercarrental.com.au/contact.htm

so any one above 21?

Update for Aussie travellers

if u spendin $75 a day, for whole trip is $525
IN AUSD is 438.316 AUD

IMHO, dat is not enough...
*if we eat breakfast in hostel, two meals a day maybe total 20AUSD
WHole trip ( 7D )meal cost = 140AUSD
* Base on the info i posted earlier, i suggest puttin aside 200 AUSD for tourist attractions and contingencies
* hostel stay = 15AUSD per night = 105 AUSD?
* Transport and eating some finger food along the way = 100 AUSD
*shopping for clothes,bags,relatives etc = 200 AUSD ? to own's discretion

well dat is how i calculate..i dunno how u guys count la...
well my expectation is total 765 AUSD
i changing 1k singapore dollar = 834.889 AUD....not really much also

so juz for ur info la....dont go australia and change money..unless u bringing american dollar....

U guys can come post how u think u r going to spend and ways to cut cost...
it takes two ass cheeks to produce a fart..so please share...

will bring it during our clearance day to show you all..quite alot of info..

anyway i was informed the sky turns dark between 4 to 5 pm....if we want to visit blue mountain and some scenic places, we may need to stay at the hostel there coz the distance quite far..
i got a strong gut feeling $75 a day is insufficient to fully enjoy yourself...the food, taxi/bus fare , the admission tix, shopping....

sydney trip - update!

okay got good news. the promotion for the airtickets is still on so expect a $770+/- airfare. and we're able to book a 8-bed dorm for $17.85 per night provided we stay minimum 6 nights and there are at least 4 of us. that sums up to $124.95 for accomodation.

so it's 770+10+46+124.95= $950.95 for your flight, visa, travel insurance and accomodation. on top of that i recommend that you bring along $500 or more. 能省的已经省了。so yeah.. rough gauge.

ok so far got like 4 of us. left ey thinking, jieming might meet up in sydney and aaron needing somemore brainwashing. if we can find one more... the whole dorm will be ours. =)

Thursday, April 20, 2006

HEY COUNT ME IN

tink it meets my budget...
count me in if the promotion is still on
i only worried bout the leave that i can take to go overseas
unless i HIONG...muhahaa

ANyway happy belated b-dae to wang
at least u get to spend it outside, i gotta spend my b-dae checking pple's car ...KNN
WHY!!! WHY!!!!

anyway OC haven approve the leaves yet..
wat if he suddenly garang go and approve...arrrgh...

australia-sydney trip

hi, we're open for more people to join up.

airfares: $770 (including taxes) - we have to check again.
visa: $10
travel insurance: $46
accomodation: $140 in a budget backpackers place. got all the basic stuff, free breakfast, free internet, kinda like our bunks in fds. only better.

so total about 770+10+46+140 = $966.

dates: 5th may (depart 1030 arrive 2015*aus time) to 13th may (depart 2145*aus time arrive 0415). yeah screwed up singapore arrival time.. but we can have breakfast at changi before going home... or.. urh back to base.

as a rouge gauge of how much you wanna bring, i think $75 a day in australia should be more than enough.. so about $500? fyi, the exchange rate is SGD1.19 to AUD1.00..

if you're interested can just click on the comment link below and send a reply. lionel is trying to confirm the airfares asap. thanks for reading

here's a big post for big breast

hihihii.. anyway i've invited everyone else into this. most of the 10th aslc people i have on my msn. hopefully more people will stick around here and talk. and yip, i don't think u should get 2b. it's pretty dangerous! we saw some gruesome stuff during our trip in JB.. u can ask lionel coz he got a big shock. even if you don't knock into others, people will knock into u.. SCARED NOWWWWWWWW?

i think macau trip needs more planning then a trip to KL or something. haha but i know u don't wanna go... maybe can join us in AUS sydney but must make plans quick.

new phone! right.. get motorola l6.. so slim and cheap. gd budget phone i guess..

u wanna wear contact lenses??!? haha don't know whether you'll like it or not. it's quite irritating so must get the right ones. a pair of monthly should cost you about $10 and below. there are those which are slightly more expensive... you can just try a pair each month until you find the right one for your eyes lor. don't rush and buy 6 months supply yet.

flabby tubby yes!

don't worry about ntu hostel application la. u got any seniors in uni? if they stay in hall and they are in the committee u may wanna ask them if they can pull u into their hall. if not it's random and may get some lousy shitass hall.

ok my turn my turn!!!!! i've been playing tennis and slacking at home. go watch take the lead.. some dancing show. not bad at all... oh yeah those who watch superband look out for mantou (馒头) coz my friend is the lead singer. if u think they're good and they deserve your $0.60, vote for them! hahahaaha..

cheers!

something nostalgic

1. You grew up watching He-man, Transformers, Silver hawk and Mickey Mouse. Not to forget, Ninja turtles and Smurfs too.
2. You grew up brushing your teeth with a mug in Primary school during recess time. You will squat by a drain with all your classmates beside you, and brush your teeth with a coloured mug. The teachers said you must brush each side10 times too.
.4. You know what SBC stands for.
7. You find your friends with pagers and handphone cool in Secondary school.
8. SBS buses used to be non-airconditioned. The bus seats are made of wood and the cushion is red.! The big red bell gives a loud BEEEP! when pressed. There are colourful tickets for TIBS buses. The conductor will check for tickets by using a machine which punches a hole on the ticket.
10. You've probably read Young Generation magazine. You know who's Vinny the little vampire and Acai the constable.
11. You were there when they first introduced MRT here. You went for the first ride with your parents and you would kneel on the seat to see the scenery.
12. Movie tickets used to cost only $3.50.
14. You learn to laugh like The Count in Sesame Street.
15. You longed to buy tibits called Kaka(20 cents per pack) and Ding Dang(50 cents per box), that had a toy in it and it changes every week not forgetting the 15 cents animal crackers and the ring pop, where the lollipop is the diamond on the ring.
16. You watched TV2(also known as Channel 10) cartoons because Channel 5 never had enough cartoons for you.
17. All that you know about Cantonese is from the Hong Kong serials you watched on TV2.
18. Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, The Three Investigators, Famous Five and Secret Seven are probably the thickest story books you ever thought you have read, even Sweet Valley High and Malory Towers
.19. Civics and Moral Education was "Hao3 Gong1 Min2".
.21. The most vulgar thing you said was asshole and idiot and THE MOST EXTREME WAS 'super white'...you just couldn't bring yourself to say the hokkien relative.
22. Catching was the IN thing and twist the magic word.
23. Your English workbooks was made of some damn poor quality paper that was smooth and yellow.
.25. The only computer lessons in school involved funny pixilated characters in 16 colours walking about trying to teach you maths.
26. Water bottles were slung around your neck and a must everywhere you go
.27. Boys loved to play soccer with small tennis balls in the basketball court or play something that uses tennis ball to hit other players known as "HUM TAM BOLA" during recess /after school
28. Hopscotch, five stones, chapteh and zero point were all the rage with the girls and boys too...
29. Science was fun with the balsam and the angsana being the most important plants of our lives.
30. Who can forget Ahmad, Bala, Sumei and John, eternalized in our minds from the textbooks, even Mr Wally, especially a bunny on your English Pets Coursebook.
32. Every children's day and national day you either get pins or pens with 'Happy Children's Day 1993' or dumb files with Happy National Day 1994'.
33. In Primary six you had to play buddy for the younger kids like big sister and brother.
34. Chinese teachers were always old, boring and damn fierce looking.
35. Your form teacher taught you maths, science and english.
37. You went to school in slippers and a raincoat when it rained, and you find a dry spot in the school to sit down, dry your feet, and wear your dry and warm socks and shoes.
38. Famous Chinese singers were only Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok and Leon Lai
39. School dismissal time was normally around 1 pm.
40. There would be spelling tests and mental sums to do almost everyday.
41. Your friends considered you lucky and rich if your parents gave you $3 or more for pocket money everyday.
43. You freak out when the teacher tells you to line up according to height and hold hands with the corresponding boy or girl
.44. Handkerchiefs were a must for both genders
45. Collecting notebooks and all kinds of stationery was a popular thing.
46. Autograph books were loaded with "Best Wishes", "Forget Me Not", and small poems like "Bird fly high, hard to catch, Friends like you, hard to forget".
47. Class monitors and prefects loved to say "You talk some more, I write your name ah!"
48. There were at least 40 people in one class.
49. Large, colourful schoolbags were carried.
50. You brought every single book to school, even though there was one thing called the timetable.

lets go to unite states

muhahahaha...guess who....

testing 1, 2, 3...

hello!
